Hi greg,

I saw your two other replys that you put up a few minutes ago.

I think the problem is that that FLAC frontend is just a graphical interface. it makes the dos commands into an easy to use graphical display so you can drag / drop files in it. you have to actually download the flac.exe program too.

http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html

go there and pick the OS you are working on. and unzip / install the files in the same folder as the front end.

BUT, honestly the easiest is to just install this:

http://mikewren.com/page.php?2

and click the

Most Recent: FLAC Installer for Windows v1.1.2a ยท 2/5/2005

that has the frontend, flac.exe, and all sorts of goodies, and gets' you all set up in one step. try that out and read these pages:

http://wiki.etree.org/index.php?page=FLAC
http://wiki.etree.org/index.php?page=FlacFrontend

and you should be downloading and listening to tunes in no time flat.. good luck. just grab the FLAC installer and you should be fine..
